EU boss visits the Poland-Belarus border – level 2

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen visited Poland and promised help to countries next to Russia and Belarus.
She said the European Union will spend more money in the next seven years on migration, border control, and defense.
Countries near Russia and Belarus will get extra funding because Europe’s borders are a shared responsibility. Von der Leyen explained that money for migration and border management will be three times bigger, for military movement ten times bigger, and for defense five times bigger.
These actions will make borders safer and prepare countries for possible problems. The plan shows that the European Union wants countries to work together and be ready for challenges.
