Deloitte uses AI to write a report – level 1

13-10-2025 15:00

A big company called Deloitte makes a report for the Australian government. It uses AI to help write it.

The report has many mistakes and wrong names. The computer makes fake quotes and stories which are not real. A teacher finds the mistakes and tells the news. The company says sorry and gives some money back. The government feels angry and surprised.

Now, many people talk about this problem. Many workers use AI every day in their jobs. AI can write fast, but sometimes it makes big mistakes. People must check the AI work carefully. AI can help, but it is not always right or smart.

Difficult words: government (the group of people who lead and make rules for a country), mistake (something what is not correct), quote (what someone says or writes).

You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.

What kinds of errors did the AI introduce into the report?
