Who will be the next James Bond? – level 2
02-11-2026 15:00
Actors Jack Lowden, Josh O’Connor, and Callum Turner are reportedly in the final auditions to play the next James Bond. Testing involves three main parts: performing stunts, delivering dialogue, and showing strong screen presence.
Jack Lowden is currently the favorite among betting groups, though all three actors bring special styles to the famous role. Experts say that producers want a British or Commonwealth actor, though a surprise candidate could still be selected.
Studio executives hope to make a press announcement around Christmas to reveal the new 007 actor to fans worldwide.
Difficult words: audition (a short performance by an actor, singer, or dancer to show their ability for a role), stunt (a dangerous or difficult action done in a movie), screen presence (when an actor can get the audience’s attention whenever they appear on camera).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
What three skills are tested during auditions for the next 007?
