2025 is the third hottest year – level 2
19-01-2026 15:00
In 2025, global temperatures dropped a little compared to 2024 because of La Niña.
Still, the year became the third hottest ever. Scientists say the world is much warmer than it was ten years ago. Human activity and carbon emissions keep heat in the air.
Natural cooling doesn’t stop climate change. Experts warn that fires, floods, and heat waves grow stronger in a warmer world. No place stays safe from these changes. The last three years broke records and pushed the planet closer to climate limits.
Scientists say the facts stay clear. Countries need to cut emissions faster. People can change things because they can vote, choose cleaner energy, and support responsible companies. Small actions together can help slow warming.
Difficult words: drop (to become lower or less), emission (gas which houses, cars, and companies release into the air), responsible (when you do the right thing and care about the results).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
What actions can individuals take to help slow warming?
