Cambodia has a new statue of a rat.
The rat’s name is Magawa. He is a very good and brave rat. He helps people. He looks for dangerous things in the ground. These things are called mines. Magawa finds 100 mines during his life. He saves many lives! He even gets a medal. People love Magawa.
Magawa is dead now. He dies in 2022. People make a big statue of him. Cambodia still has dangerous mines in the ground. The government wants to find all of them. This statue is a thank you to the small rat.
