Scary footage captured the moment a plane lost a tire during takeoff on its way to Japan.

The incident forced a United Airlines flight bound for Osaka to divert to Los Angeles International Airport. The falling tire damaged cars in the San Francisco airport parking lot. Fortunately, the Boeing 777-200 landed safely at LAX with no injuries reported among the 235 passengers and crew onboard. United Airlines arranged a new aircraft for the continuation of the journey.

This incident adds to a series of mid-air problems involving Boeing planes operated by United Airlines, raising concerns about aviation safety.
