A young man makes Singapore travel easier – level 2
24-02-2026 15:00
Singapore has a very good public transport system, but some places are still hard to find.
A young man named Veric puts up signs to help people. His signs look official, but he makes them himself. He started at a university because the bus stops had no signs. Now he also works in public areas, and he did many projects. Veric works at night so that he doesn’t meet many people. He studies maps to make his signs clear. His signs show the full bus route and where to change buses.
Veric wants travel to be easy for everyone. Before this, he complained online about bad signs. But nothing changed, so he decided to change things himself. He hopes others will also try to make the city better.
Difficult words: sign (a board or mark that shows information or directions), route (the way or path you follow to go somewhere), complain (to say you are not happy about something).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
What details do Veric’s signs provide to help travelers?
