AI scams – level 1
24-10-2025 15:00
AI is in phones, photos, and websites. It can help people, but some people use it to lie. They can make fake voices and faces. This is called a deepfake.
A deepfake can look real. A person can call you and ask for money. But it is not your friend – it is a trick. Some people also make fake photos of houses for rent.
To stay safe, check things. Ask, “Who sends this? Why?” If something looks strange, stop and look again. Tell your family or friends if you see a scam. Be careful when you use the internet.
Difficult words: lie (to not tell the truth), deepfake (a fake AI video or sound), trick (something that fools someone).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
Which two questions should you ask yourself when something looks strange?
