Biggest Bonfire Ever – level 1

30-05-2022 15:00

A town in Austria sets a world record. People build a 60-metre tower. It takes them three months. They build it from wood. They set this tower on fire. It becomes the biggest bonfire in the world. It collapses in 30 minutes.

Fire crews are on site. They make sure that everybody is safe.

Difficult words: bonfire (a large open-air fire; people burn it as part of a celebration), collapse (fall down), on site (there, in the area).

You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
