Fire in São Paulo – level 1

07-05-2018 15:00

São Paulo is Brazil’s largest city. A fire starts in a tall building. It starts on the third floor. More than 150 firefighters try to stop this fire. They think that the cause of the fire is a gas explosion.

The fire grows quickly. Soon, the 26-storey building is on fire. It collapses.

We know that one person dies. However, there can be more dead people.

Difficult words: cause (the event which started something), storey (a floor in a building), collapse (fall down).

You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
