A fire started on the third floor of a 26-storey building in Brazil’s largest city, São Paulo, and spread rapidly to the levels above.

More than 150 firefighters battled the fierce blaze, which made the structure soon collapse, and people believe that the cause was a gas explosion.

One person died, but Brazilian authorities warned that there could be more fatalities.
