France and Germany do not agree about a new jet – level 1

France and Germany plan a new fighter plane. But they do not agree. France wants the plane to carry nuclear weapons and work from a big ship for planes. Germany does not have these weapons or ships, so it does not need this.
The two countries start the project together in 2017. The plan is about a new plane, computer systems, and small planes without pilots. The plane is very important for the plan. Leaders in Germany now speak about the problems.
Europe wants to make its own fighter planes and not depend on the United States. This problem shows that working together is not easy. The project may continue, but it is not clear what will happen.
Difficult words: agree (to think the same), nuclear weapon (a very strong bomb), depend (to need someone or something).
