Generation Amazing – level 2
28-02-2025 15:00
Nasser Al-Khori is the leader of Generation Amazing, a group that helps young people through sport.
He believes sports can change lives, especially for children in difficult situations. His team teaches football and life skills to help them grow and feel stronger.
In Doha, they work with Palestinian children who had to leave Gaza. These children join football and writing activities to feel better and share their feelings. The group also trains new coaches to help their communities.
Generation Amazing also works in other countries. They want to use sport to make the world a better place. Famous players like David Beckham support them. Al-Khori is also working with UNESCO to create new ideas to help young people everywhere.
Difficult words: life skill (something you can do and helps you in everyday life), coach (a person who teaches and trains athletes), support (to help).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
How do football and writing activities, along with training new coaches, support children facing hardships like those who relocated from Gaza, and what impact does international collaboration have on these efforts?
