In Kenya, people work long hours to help artificial intelligence (AI) learn. They look at many pictures and videos and sort them into groups. But the job is very hard and workers get little money for it.
Joanne must look at bad pictures and videos, like accidents and fighting. Stacy checks TikTok videos. She sees scary things. Workers feel very sad. Some workers cannot sleep because of bad dreams. Some companies give help, but it is not enough.
Experts say that these workers need better pay and good work conditions. Workers are joining together to ask for better conditions. They want more money and help from experts. If things do not change, more people will have problems. But big companies will make a lot of money.
Difficult words: sort (to put things in groups), scary (making people afraid), condition (the state that something or someone is in).
