Kias and Hyundais on Fire – level 1

11-04-2019 07:00

This news is about cars. Some Kia and Hyundai cars are bad. Some of them catch on fire. This happens to about 3,000 people.

The people tell an American agency about this. The agency starts an investigation. The problems are with Hyundai Sonata and Santa Fe, and Kia Optima, Sorento and Soul.

There can be up to 3 million of these cars on the road in the USA.

Difficult words: agency (an organisation which works for the people of a country), investigation (a type of work to get more information about a problem and to understand it).

You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
