Luka Modric is now an investor and co-owner of Swansea City, a football club in the English Championship.
He plays for Real Madrid and is the captain of Croatia. Modric played at Tottenham before and won the Ballon d’Or in 2018.
He also helped Real Madrid win many big trophies. He feels happy to join Swansea and wants to use his football knowledge to help the team. Swansea started to have problems after leaving the Premier League in 2018. Some fans think Modric’s help can make the team stronger. They also hope his name can bring good players to the club.
More famous people are putting money into English football. People think Modric wants to be part of that. Many fans believe he can do something good for Swansea now or in the future.
