Merry Christmas 2016 – level 3

23-12-2016 07:00

Christmas is coming. People celebrate Christmas on 25th December and in some countries on 24th December. People celebrate Christmas all over the world, as a religious holiday or as a time of celebration by Christians and non-Christians alike. The traditions differ from country to country, but they nearly always include a lot of good food, giving gifts or cards and singing Christmas songs. Santa Claus, or Father Christmas, or in some countries, Baby Jesus, brings presents to children and adults alike.

We want to thank you for reading our news this year. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We will be on holiday until 2nd January, 2017 when you can expect two news a day as usual.

Difficult words: alike (the same).

You can see a nice Christmas video below.
