Where does snow go after a big storm?
In Montreal, there are ten big places for snow. Each one holds a lot of snow, like 800 swimming pools! One place, called Angrignon, has a big snow mountain after a lot of snow falls. It is 30 meters tall. Many trucks bring snow there every minute. The city is using more trucks than before. By the end, there will be six million cubic meters of snow.
Workers use machines to make the snow mountain smaller. The snow takes a long time to melt. It will still be there in September. But the city is not worried. They always manage so much snow.
Difficult words: truck (a big car which carries things and materials), cubic meter (a volume in a cube one meter long on each side), manage (to control or organize something).
