A big meeting on AI takes place in Paris, France. The UK and the US do not sign an AI agreement.
Other countries, like France, China, and India, say that AI must be open, fair, and safe. The UK does not agree with everything. It will only sign what is good for the country.
India’s leader says that AI is growing fast. AI can create new jobs. But it also has risks, like fake news. The US leader says that AI is good. People should not be afraid of it. He wants countries to work together. But the US must be number one in AI. The next AI meeting will be in India.
Difficult words: sign (to write a name on a letter, card, or document), agreement (a deal), risk (a possible danger).
