Syrian girl is saved – level 2

22-07-2014 15:00

Syrian rescue workers captured something unbelievable on camera. They saved a two-month-old girl from rubble in a Syrian city.

Dust completely covered the baby’s body. She was crying. When her small head was seen, people started shouting that this was a miracle.

We don’t know where exactly this person shot the video, and we don’t know if the video is real. A team posted the video online. The baby girl seemed unhurt.

Difficult words: rubble (broken stones or bricks from a building), miracle (when something very lucky and good happens).

You can read the original story and watch the video in the Level 3 section.

Why do people keep fighting wars?
