The Cannes Film Festival starts in France. Many actors come and walk on the red carpet. People are happy and take photos. But the festival is not only about movies this year.
A woman named Fatima is a journalist in Gaza. She dies in a bomb attack. She is in a movie. This movie is now at the festival. Fatima dies one day after she hears about the movie. Juliette Binoche, a French actress, talks about Fatima. She says that art is strong and tells our stories.
Many people also talk about the war. They write a letter to stop the fighting. The festival shows movies from many places like Japan, Iran, and Ukraine. A new Mission Impossible movie will also play.
