Trump still wants Greenland – level 2

Denmark and the United States disagree about Greenland. President Trump says the US needs Greenland for security and wants full control.
Denmark and Greenland say no. They say they can work with the US on defense, but Greenland will not belong to the US.
Greenland governs itself but stays part of Denmark. The US already has a military base there. Trump says Greenland helps protect the Arctic from Russia and China. Denmark plans to send more soldiers, but Trump says Denmark cannot protect Greenland on its own.
The countries plan more talks, but many Americans don’t support a takeover. Trump also speaks about trade taxes on countries that say no. This situation causes worries in countries which support Greenland.
Difficult words: defense (protection from danger or attack), govern (to control and make rules for a place or people), takeover (when one country or group takes control of another).
