US-Iran talks – level 2

Iran and the US are talking in Rome, Italy, about Iran’s nuclear plans. This is the fifth time they met. The US wants Iran to stop trying to make a nuclear weapon. Iran wants the US to remove economic sanctions.
Iran is now making nuclear material very fast, and experts think it could have enough material for a bomb in just a few weeks. The group that checks nuclear sites, the IAEA, cannot visit all the places in Iran anymore, which makes other countries very worried. The US wants to find a peaceful way to stop Iran, but Iran’s top leader has the final word.
Even though Iran’s government is doing the talking, the leader controls what they can agree to, making everything more difficult.
Difficult words: nuclear (using energy from atoms), remove (to take away), peaceful (calm).
