Spotify gives money to artists from Nigeria and South Africa. In 2024, they get 59 million dollars.
This is a lot more money than before. Many people like African music now. Stars like Burna Boy from Nigeria and Tyla from South Africa make their music famous. Nigerian artists earn almost 38 million dollars, and South African artists earn 21 million dollars.
Most of the money comes from fans outside Africa. This is a good thing for their music. More African musicians now make money from their music. They have enough money to buy things which they need.
