North Korea has a new holiday place called the Wonsan Kalma Coastal Tourist Zone. It has hotels, restaurants, shops, and a water park.

At first, the plan is to open the resort for people from many countries, but now only Russian groups can go. They must come with special travel companies. Russian visitors say that the beach is nice and the place looks good. But they also say that there are many rules for tourists.

North Korea wants tourists to bring money. Before COVID, many Chinese people come, but now only a few Russians visit. The country needs money in euros, dollars, or rubles. Experts say that North Korea also wants to show that it is strong and friendly with Russia.
