Sarah Ferguson calls Epstein her friend – level 1
26-09-2025 07:00
Sarah Ferguson is the Duchess of York. She is not a patron of Julia’s House anymore. Julia’s House is a UK charity for very sick children. The charity says that she cannot stay because she calls Jeffrey Epstein her friend in an email.
The email is from 2011. Epstein is a man who does bad crimes in the past. In public, Ferguson says that it is bad to be Epstein’s friend. But then, she writes an email to him with nice words.
Ferguson starts with the charity in 2018. The charity thanks her for her help. Other charities now look if they want her to stay or not.
Difficult words: charity (a group which helps people who need money or things to live a better life), in public (in front of other people).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
What inconsistency is evident between Ferguson’s public remarks about Jeffrey Epstein and her private email to him?
