A 102-year-old yoga teacher – level 3
13-10-2025 07:00
Charlotte Chopin, a 102-year-old yoga teacher from France, has been teaching for more than forty years.
She started yoga at fifty and soon began leading classes in her small village, Léré. Her studio is located in an old police station, and she teaches a few loyal students each week.
Despite her age, she still moves with grace and energy, inspiring others with her strength and discipline. Charlotte became famous after appearing on a talent show at ninety-nine, where her calmness and control impressed the audience. She later received recognition from India for promoting yoga and healthy living. However, she stays humble and says her long life is mostly due to good luck, daily movement, and friendship.
Her days are simple: coffee and toast for breakfast, some outdoor time, and yoga. She believes that staying active, grateful, and connected helps her live happily and age well.
Difficult words: grace (smooth and beautiful movement), recognition (public respect or praise), humble (not proud; thinking you are not more important than other people).

What three factors does Charlotte credit for her long life?
