Many people go to Iași in Romania to see Saint Parascheva. They walk in the rain and wait in long lines. People pray and feel happy when they see the saint and the relics.

The city has many flowers. People put flowers around the cathedral and the streets. People enjoy the colours and smells of the flowers.

Saint Parascheva is a saint. Her relics come from Greece, Serbia, and Bulgaria. People in Romania celebrate their holiday every year on 14 October. Many people come to see her and pray. The festival is very important, and people feel joy and faith when they take part.

Difficult words: pray (to speak to a god), relic (an object connected to a saint), cathedral (a very large and important church), faith (strong belief).

You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
