Elvis Presley festival – level 2

09-01-2026 07:00

Elvis Presley fans traveled from Sydney to a small town for a yearly music festival. They went by the Elvis Express, a special train for the event. Fans wore Elvis clothes and enjoyed music together during the long trip.

The train ride lasted seven hours and offered shows with singers who performed famous Elvis songs. One singer from the UK said he chose to come after friends told him good things about the festival. He said Elvis’ music brought joy and helped people forget problems.

The festival happens every January and brings many visitors to the town. This year, about 24,000 people came to the event. This number is much higher than the number of people who live there. Fans come to feel happy and enjoy music.

Difficult words: festival (a big event for many people), perform (to sing, play music, or act in front of people), joy (a happy feeling).

You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.

How long did the ride on the Elvis Express take, and what entertainment did it offer passengers?
