Rescued chimpanzees from laboratories now live in a safe place in Liberia. They live on big islands where they can walk around freely.

Long ago, people take them from the forest as small babies. Then they spend years in laboratories. Today, there are only a few chimpanzees in the wild. Doctors give them full health checks to keep them safe as they grow old. They test their blood, check their bones, and look for sickness early.

Health checks give these rescued animals a safe and happy life.

Difficult words: rescued (when someone saves you from a bad situation), laboratory (a room where scientists do experiments and tests), sickness (the state when your body does not feel well).
