Today, many children do not play with normal toys. Instead, they want iPhones, adult makeup, and body sprays.
Small children watch social media videos on phones and iPads. They see adults who use beauty products. Children want to do the same. But using adult skincare can hurt a child’s skin. Big stores and companies make a lot of money from young buyers.
Many young kids do not want to go to school. They want to become famous online. Parents spend a lot of money on these things for their children. Experts say that kids need less screen time, fewer products, and more time to play outside like in the past.
Difficult words: adult (a person who is not a child anymore), famous (when many people know someone or something), past (the time before now).
