Many eight-year-old children are using adult skincare products, which can hurt their skin. Big companies are happy about this trend because they make a lot of money selling products to young buyers. In addition, many children now say they want to be famous online influencers instead of going to school or playing outside.

Although big tech companies and advertisers encourage this consumer behavior, parents are the ones buying these products. Experts say parents should limit screen time and help their children enjoy a real, simple childhood.
