Pumpkin festival – level 1
22-10-2026 07:00
A big pumpkin festival is happening at a castle near Brussels, Belgium. About 50,000 people will visit. They will see many pumpkins and squashes.
The pumpkins come from different countries and have many sizes. There is one huge pumpkin which weighs 772 kilos. Even though the summer is very hot this year, the festival is full of wonderful things.
People can carve pumpkins for Halloween, look at big vegetables, and even see pumpkins which look like small boats. Families love to go there to celebrate autumn and have a fun day out.
Difficult words: squash (a vegetable similar to pumpkins), weigh (how heavy something is), huge (very big).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
