This news is about a man called Lorenzo Suarez. He lives in a poor town in Cuba. His home has a big green space with 100 colorful orchids.

Cuba has many problems, but Lorenzo loves his plants. He works to make new and strong flowers. He made a famous pink and yellow flower. He mixes local flowers with plants from other countries. He wants these new flowers to grow well in hot weather.

Lorenzo also wants to protect wild flowers in the forest so people do not take them.
