There is a new statue of Stalin in the Metro in Moscow. In the past, people take down his statues. Now, the government shows him as a strong man. Some young people say Stalin is a good person for the country.

One man who helps President Putin says that the Soviet Union still exists. He says that the Soviet Union ends with a legal mistake. Some people say that the war in Ukraine is not a war. They say it is a problem in Russia.

Many people now see the past in a new way. The government wants people to think this way. This helps them with war and problems with the West. They use the past to help today’s situation.

Difficult words: statue (a big stone or metal figure), exist (to live, be), legal (about the rules of a country).
