Politicians like US President Joe Biden and London Mayor Sadiq Khan recently became victims of deepfake technology. This technology uses AI to produce fake images and recordings.

New York Mayor Eric Adams has also used deepfake technology for calls in multiple languages. However, some people worry, and they say that such actions set a precedent for similar things happening in the future. The use of deepfakes is increasing globally. Politicians use deepfakes for many purposes, which leads to people trusting media and politicians less and less.

Difficult words: victim (a person who is harmed), multiple (having more than one and usually several of something).
