Brooklyn Beckham speaks about family problems – level 2

23-01-2026 07:00

Brooklyn Beckham wrote a long Instagram post about serious problems with his parents.

He said they care more about fame and public image than about him. He said they hurt him and his wife and caused trouble around their wedding. He shared these feelings openly with the public.

Brooklyn said his mother changed plans for the wedding dance and stopped making his wife’s wedding dress very late. His wife then had to find a new dress fast. He said these actions caused pain and stress. He believes his parents didn’t support his marriage.

David Beckham spoke at a public meeting the next day, but the family gave no reply to the post. Brooklyn said he didn’t want to make peace now and felt better after moving away from his family.

Difficult words: fame (when many people know you), public image (the way people see a person in public), peace (times without a conflict).

You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.

What did Brooklyn Beckham say his mother did that forced his wife to find a new wedding dress on short notice?
