The leader of Bulgaria says that his country will stop sending weapons from its army to Ukraine. He thinks that Bulgaria gives enough help.

The war hurts his country’s business and money. The leader wants countries to talk and find a peaceful way to stop the war. He believes that more weapons cannot stop the war.

Private factories in Bulgaria will still make and sell weapons for Ukraine. But the government will not send weapons from its own army. Bulgaria is part of NATO and the EU. It helps Ukraine since the start of the war in 2022.

Some politicians in Bulgaria are angry about this new rule. They think that if Bulgaria stops helping Ukraine, its friends in other countries will not believe Bulgaria anymore.
