Dangerous surfing – level 2

12-09-2014 15:00

Sixteen elite surfers went to Sydney to compete. This competition was very dangerous. Not because of the size of the waves, but because of the location. Six to eight foot waves crashed onto rocks.

There were no monster waves, but there were a lot of barrels and wipeouts.

Difficult words: elite (the best), barrels (inside of a wave), wipeout (fall from a surfboard).

You can read the original story and watch the video in the Level 3 section.
