Drones help reforest Brazil – level 2

In a forward-thinking move, Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro collaborates with Morfo, a startup, to employ drones for reforestation.
Launched jointly by the city hall and Morfo, this green initiative leverages advanced technology to speed up reforestation in challenging landscapes. Drones equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) analyze soil and native species data to identify optimal areas for seeding local species.
This method proves highly efficient. Each drone disperses 180 seed capsules per minute, presenting a 100-fold increase in speed compared to traditional manual methods. T use of drones and AI speeds up the process of nurturing seedlings and transporting them to planting sites.
