Explosion in Spain – level 2

An explosion in Spain injured more than 77 people. Five people were injured seriously. The explosion took place around 7 pm local time. People think that a gas cylinder caused it.

People say that the cafe’s chef raised the alarm a moment before the explosion. The incident happened in the south of Spain, close to the popular tourist resort of Malaga.

Difficult words: gas cylinder (a thing which holds in gas under pressure), raise the alarm (warn of danger), resort (a place popular with tourists).
