Iceland is a cold island with very little land for farming. But the country has a lot of clean electricity, pure water, and natural heat.
People are using these things to grow food in new ways. One man builds an underground farm to grow sweet strawberries. Other workers use warm air from data centers to grow fresh greens in small containers.
Near power stations, a company grows small green plants in big tanks. It uses cold outside air and green energy. They turn these plants into healthy food supplements. These smart ideas help Iceland grow more of its own food.
Difficult words: pure (clean), power station (a factory which makes electricity), supplement (a product which you take and it gives you extra nutrients in your diet).
