Gamescom is the world’s biggest gaming event, with over 350,000 visitors. The event started with big news, including a new version of The Witcher 3.

At the show, Xbox celebrated its 25th birthday, and its new leader said the gaming industry needs to make hardware more affordable. Classic games are also coming back; Tomb Raider is getting a modern update called Legacy of Atlantis with better graphics and controls. Smaller game studios are working on big projects too. A small team from Scotland is making a new horror game called Silent Hill Townfall. Furthermore, technology companies like Nvidia showed new AI tools to make game graphics look very real in real time.

Gamescom remains an exciting place where fans and developers meet to play new games.
