How to make perfect sandwich bread – level 2
01-04-2025 07:00
This homemade sandwich bread is very soft, with a thin and crispy crust. It has whole wheat flour, which gives it a nice flavor and soft texture.
There are only natural ingredients, which makes it easy to make at home. The ingredients include water, yeast, yogurt, oil, and two types of flour. The steps take some time, but the result is a fresh and tasty loaf. First, mix everything well and let the dough rest for 30 minutes. Stretch and fold the dough to make it stronger. Do this two times, then let the dough rise for two hours. Shape it into a loaf and let it rise again for one hour. Before baking, cut the top a little. Bake with a cover for 25 minutes, then without it for 10 more minutes.
When baked, the bread makes a hollow sound if you tap on it. The crust is thin and crispy, and the inside is very soft. Let it cool before eating. This fresh bread is great for sandwiches or with butter.
Difficult words: whole wheat (made from whole grains in their natural form), texture (how something feels to touch), hollow (empty inside).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
What technique is used to strengthen the dough before shaping it into a loaf, and what are the durations for resting, rising, and baking that lead to a fresh, soft interior with a thin, crispy crust?
