How to travel cheaply – level 1
17-01-2025 07:00
Experts say that travel will be more expensive in 2025. Airlines are flying less, and cheap airlines have problems.
Some places, like Canada and parts of the US, are still cheaper to visit. People should visit less popular places like Sicily or Scandinavia rather than Paris or London.
If you want to save money, travel in spring or during less busy times. Apps like Skyscanner or Hopper can help you find cheap flights. If ticket prices go down after you book, you may get money back, but only with some tickets. It is important to plan and stay flexible. You can also spend less money on trips.
Difficult words: expensive (when something costs a lot of money), airline (a company which flies planes), flexible (able to change easily).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
What are some strategies mentioned in the text to save money on travel and why might they be necessary in 2025?
