India is a major global center for medical tourism. Every year, many foreign patients travel there for complex surgeries and medical care.

India offers very low prices, excellent private hospitals, and highly trained doctors. Patients also like that they don’t have to wait long to see a specialist. Most foreign patients come from nearby countries like Bangladesh, as well as parts of Africa and the Middle East. But other countries like Turkey, Thailand, and South Korea are becoming very popular too.

To stay competitive, India is investing in new technology and AI. Startups are building smart devices to detect diseases earlier and plan difficult operations. Today, India wants to show the world that it offers high-quality and modern technology, not just low prices.

Difficult words: complex (difficult to understand or do), specialist (a person who is an expert in a specific area), competitive (as good as or better than others of a similar type).
