India’s passion for vintage cars was celebrated at the Oberoi Concours d’Elegance, showcasing pre-war European classics and iconic American Cadillacs.

Owners, deeply devoted to their prized vehicles, competed for recognition in various categories at the luxurious Oberoi hotel. The event highlighted India’s significant role in the vintage car market, with a quarter of Rolls-Royce production in the 1930s being sold in India. Among the displayed cars, industrialist Godam Singa’s collection stood out, with rare and unique models like the Bentley 4 and Phantom 3.

Indian royalty’s connections to these vintage cars added to their allure, with intricate details making each ride special. The event also honored Indian classics, including the iconic Maruti 800.

Difficult words: vintage (old and of high quality), industrialist (a person involved in large-scale business), allure (the quality of being attractive or fascinating).
