The Year of the Horse starts in 2026. People born this year are active, social, and work hard.

In Chinese culture, horses mean success, energy, and passion. This year is a fire-horse year. People in China believe in the five elements. They affect each other, and each year has its own element. Horses are part of history and stories as strong animals which helped people be stronger. They changed war, transport, and communication. Horses in famous books are brave, and they help people.

Today, horses are in company logos and brands. Young Chinese workers use the horse to describe hard work and long hours. Lunar New Year is an important festival in China and other countries, which people celebrate with family, good food, and many events.

Difficult words: passion (a very strong feeling or interest in something), element (one of the five parts of nature – wood, fire, earth, metal, water), brand (a company or product name which people know).
