Malaysia wants to sell more durian fruit to other countries, especially China. China buys a lot of durians, but most come from Thailand.

In Malaysia, people are making durian ice cream, cakes, and special shops for tourists. Malaysian durians fall naturally from the tree when they are ready. They taste very good, but they go bad in two or three days. Selling fresh durians to China starts in 2024. They quickly become popular. People say that durian is a special food, not everyday food. Today, many people see durians on social media and travel to try this special fruit.
