Music festivals are becoming less popular – level 1
26-06-2025 07:00
Many people go to music festivals in the past. They want to see bands and have fun. Now, tickets and trips cost too much. Young people like to spend money on other things than expensive festivals.
Some festivals in the US do not take place last year. Even big ones have fewer people. Some fans do not want to pay a lot to see just a few bands.
Young people enjoy music in new ways. They use phones or games to watch shows. Festivals may need to change or be cheaper.
Difficult words: have fun (to enjoy yourself or feel happy while doing something), ticket (paper or card to go into a show or place), fan (a person who likes something or someone a lot, like a singer, band, or sports team).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
What new methods are young people using to enjoy music instead of paying high prices to attend festivals?
